Bob started working on semi-trucks when he was just 17 at a truck repair shop in Bryan, OH. He then transitioned to working for the previous owner of Cookie Carriers; working his way up, gaining knowledge, and experience, to eventually purchase the company. He started with 5 trucks, and now has 37 in the fleet. When his boys wanted to get into the family business it only made sense to expand into truck sales and service. Boeke and Sons, Inc. was started in March 2013. With Bob’s 40+ years of experience around trucks it has become a profitable and successful business. Bob is married to his wife Diane and they have 3 children; Jason, Dan, and Amanda, along with 9 grandkids. Bob’s favorite part of the business is being able to watch his boys learn and grow within the company to eventually be able to take over the family business.
Jason started working when he was just a kid washing trucks. He now has over 25 years of experience diagnosing and repairing anything with a diesel engine. He graduated from University of Northwestern Ohio majoring in Diesel Mechanics, and worked elsewhere for a short while to gain experience away from the family business. In 2013 the demand for shop work was great enough that Jason came on full time. He has multiple specialty certifications. The shop now has 18 total employees in the shop. Jason is married to his wife Brittany, and they have 3 children. Jason’s favorite part about working here is getting to diagnose difficult repairs and fixing them.
Dan started working for the company when he was just a kid washing trucks. He now has over 20 years of experience with trucks. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2012 with a major in Operations Management, and a minor in accounting. When Danny first came on full-time he split his time between dispatch, accounting, and miscellaneous repairs in the shop. Now with the rapid growth of the company, Dan is involved with everything from accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, invoicing, operations, and even truck sales. Dan is married to his wife Sarah, and they have 3 children. Dan’s favorite thing about working here is the fast-paced nature of the job. He definitely likes to stay busy, and he’s pretty good at selling trucks too. He’s pretty much a jack of all trades around here.
Chad started working for Boeke and Sons, Inc in 2014. Chad gained experience as parts, and service manager at a local auto repair shop. He also has a strong agricultural background, and still farms on the side during spring and fall. Chad has more than 20 years of experience around sales, service, and parts. He is married to his wife Jayma, and they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Chad’s favorite part about being the parts manager is having satisfied customers, securing hard to find parts, and giving our customers the best deals possible. His favorite part about being the lead sales manager is having top quality trucks to sell to customers, and gaining their trust to come back and see him when they want to update their truck or add to their fleet.
Rod started working for Boeke and Sons, Inc. in 2018, but has known Bob for about 20 years. He has over 35 years of experience around trucks. He graduated from UNOH and worked as a truck mechanic about 10 years, then went to Volvo/Mack as a salesman for 14 years. He has been an independent salesman, and truck purchaser for 11 years until he came to work for Boeke and Sons as our main purchaser and sales manager. He has 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Rod’s favorite thing about his job is going out to hunt for the hard to find trucks our customers are looking for. He just loves trucks and doesn’t want to do anything else.
Amanda started working for Boeke and Sons, Inc. in January of 2019. She was born and raised in Ridgeville Corners, OH on her family’s farm and grain elevator. She has a very strong background in agriculture having her American FFA Degree, and an Associates of Science degree. She has over 10 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable, title work, and advertising. She has 7+ years of experience in truck sales, truck compliance, and health insurance. She has been raised around equipment her whole life, everything from large equipment to high-performance tractors/trucks and race cars. She has 1 son. Her favorite part about working here is the family style atmosphere.
Opie joined the Boeke and Sons team in 2018. He went to a trade school during high school and majored in auto collision and repair. After he graduated from trade school he went on to another facility for around 7 years to gain experience in multiple types of repairs and body work. During that time he married Bob Boeke’s daughter, Amanda, and now have 3 children. He has over 13 years of experience in repair/body work. His favorite thing about working here is the variety of things he gets to work on and repair. He also loves being able to sell trucks and making customers happy.
